Hi I'm Andrew Kelleher, but everyone calls me Kell. I was brought up a Manchester United fan cause my parents immigrated from Manchester to Sydney in 1964. After playing football most of my life I ended up in London in 2000 where I worked as a Tour Guide in the summers, then at Fulham Football Club in the winter. There were so many Aussies in London at that time and we regularly saw the Socceroos playing, usually against the smaller nations but the friendly victory over England (3-1) really got me pumped to follow the boys wherever they played. After Australia famously qualified for 2006 I convinced my then boss at Topdeck to allocate me a coach for Germany 2006. In the end 43 of us boarded the coach in London and travelled over to the World Cup. The Japan victory and Croatia draw were of course highlights as well as seeing Brazil and Italy play and we were all hooked. The style was hostels/camping so it was a budget tour but everyone had a great time.

In 2007 I immigrated to Cape Town, South Africa and my great mate Paul Humphries convinced me to run a tour of the 2010 World Cup there which ran very successfully again camping and hostels and we chartered an overland truck as well as my Mercedes Sprinter. There were 37 of us there. Great thanks to Dennis Grace and Muggsy who guided us around. We watched the Socceroos against Germany in Durban (0-4), Ghana in Rustenberg (1-1), then Serbia in Nelspruit (2-1) which is of course the gateway to Kruger National Park where we also went on safari and drank a lot of Castle Beer!

With Brazil came new challenges, and for those who went you will know that it was interesting getting things done, but we managed and of course we were there for Tim Cahill's amazing goal against The Netherlands. 54 of us ended up in Rio for what was an awesome experience to see Brazil in football fever! Many thanks to Rafa our spirited translator who partied hard with us and helped us get through.
